KOA Campground
I am sure it has been asked before but I can't find it...
Are KOA Campgrounds firearm friendly? I have never been to one. And I always like to bring my sidearm with me on trips.

No one knows? Or cares? I guess I will have to inquire elsewhere.

Do you pass through a metal detector anywhere? If no, concealed means concealed.

Unless there's a state or federal law against it I carry. No such law for private campgrounds. The one we frequent says no firearms or fireworks. I don't carry fireworks, I do carry firesticks up to and including 12 GA!!

I always carry when camping. Last year we took a road trip up WA to the San Juan's, and stayed at a KOA along the way - it was expensive, but I never had a problem carrying. As it's been repeated many times, concealed means concealed, and I would never leave my firearms at the site unattended (which goes without saying).
