Default Cheapest place for ffl transfer around Kent

Last time I bought a pistol online I paid $50. At Champion Arms. There has to be a cheaper place.

Are you a member of a Gun Club? If so, check with them and see if they have a FFL, mine does and they do FFL transfers for free.

Champion arms is overpriced, Friend. I bought a pistol there last year and after shopping around I found they pretty much gouged me. Try Ben's Loans in downtown Renton, or Discount Guns in Federal Way. Hope this helps. I'm pretty sure they only charge $30.

$50 is WAY too much for a transfer...shop around, you'll find a better deal. Gunbroker has a list of transfer dealers.

Just stay away from Discount Guns (various locations) - last I heard their transfer fees were $75.

And remember: the DOR (Department Of Revenue) is requiring the FFL's to collect sales/use tax on the purchase price or sale value of the weapon. This is not anything new, but the enforcement of the law is. Some FFL's are not yet collecting the tax, when they get audited and hit for the back taxes owed you can bet they will start. Just that happened to Mike at Brightwater in Vancouver a couple years ago. A lot of his customers found out and paid him what they owed, some didn't!

Thank God for places like this to leave a FFL out of it.

I just buy in OR and will be happy to a ten dollar fee.

Only if you're buying a long gun, pistols must go through an FFL and be shipped to an FFL in WA who then collects the sales/use tax. Buying a pistol out of state FTF is illegal.
