Was just informed recently that a co-worker of mine, Wally Wentz, has a shop open on 1st Ave in Kelso. I stopped in there last night to shoot the bubblegum and check it out.
He's not too big at the moment, but has a growing selection of used and new, and is also happy to custom order. He also offers gunsmithing work as well. He definitely has a passion for what he does, and I think it's fitting he's now got a business he can use to share it.
His wife Dillie is in there running the shop when he's stuck at his "day job" as a millwright superintendent.
Hopefully he can compete with the jerk-offs at the gun shop in Longview. Those guys are tools. If there wasn't a cash register on the counter, you would think everything was free because none of the employees will have anything to do with you.
