Thread: Mags for a Ruger MarkIII 22/45 question

I need to find more mags for this gun. What I was wondering is this the only model these mags will fit?? Or will some of the other Mark series work all so?

The Ruger Mk III models have the magazine disconnect and thus require the MkIII mags. The only way to use the MkII mags is to remove the the magazine 'saftety' feature. This is the reason why I sold my Walther P22 and searched out a Ruger 22/45 MkII when my kids where using it in IDPA.

More specifically the 22/45 mags only work in 22/45 guns, and the other Ruger mark I, II, or III mags will not work in 22/45 guns.
