Default Holster for light mounted weapon

    Must have the following criteria:

    1. IWB for max concealability.
    2. Comfort and concealment are critical.
    3. I am willing to consider any material but thinking Kydex or Hybrid.
    4. Have no retention device other than molding and fit.
    5. Must accommodate both Glock 17 and 19 so it must be 17 in length, not a short open bottom design.
    6. Must accommodate both an attached Surefire X200 and X300
    7. No or low profile sweat shield to allow full grip on weapon.
    8. Tuckable would be a nice option but not mandatory.
    9. I am unconcerned about cost or wait time for the right holster.

As a bonus cut low enough for slide mounted RMR with sight channel large enough for raise sights, but this is not required.

    Lets hear what you got.

Raven would be the closest but I think you are going to have a very hard time finding a holster that will fit both guns.

Blade-Tech shows a IWB w/light holster. I didn't go through all their options so don't know if one will work for your situation.

I will PM you a guys number, from Portland, that will make you exactly what you want out of kydex and leather. He may already even make one, he does a lot of IWB with lights. He does great work. I can play basketball with my Glock 19 and never know it's there. He should be able to do it in a week or so for under $100 in guessing.

Have you considered getting a small toaster over, some Kydex sheet, some rivets and a few cutting tools and custom molding a kit yourself? I've been intrigued by it since I watched a video on making Kydex "custom" holsters.....

You maybe hard pressed to find one holster that fits both the 17 and 19 and also the x200 and x300...thinking out loud unless the length difference is only in the slide and both frames are the same size it might be doable. Again depending on the lights being the exact same size.

As above Raven will be good and you will be waiting.

I have consider it and probably will someday, but there’s a lot more to a light mounted weapons holster then just a standard press fit due the channel that must accommodate the light as it go in. I have decided to leave this project to the pros that have had countless feed back from the hard use guys.

Thanks wayoutwest, I have been in contact with Steve at PSS and Tony about his Y-12, Bravo Concealment is a new to me I’ll have to look into them. I have also considered Raven and Josh Kolbeson’s Tac-Light Hybrid. Nice work on your holster and mag holders, looks great.

    Thanks all for your replies.
