    Default Weaver Classic V-Series 1-3x

I am wondeing if anyone has any experience with this scope:

    Weaver Classic V-Series Rifle Scope 1-3x 20mm Dual-X Reticle Matte - MidwayUSA

The reviews at Midway seem pretty positive. it's a bit lighter and shorter than similar optics from Nikon, Leatherwood, Millet etc... It does not have lighted retical, but that really doesn't bother me. I plan to use this on an AK-74 (ducks thrown fruit from the purists) with a low profile sidemount from Kalinka. My eyesight has gone kaput, and I'm not a red-dot fan so this seems to fit the bill.

    Thanks.

You get what you pay for. Might worth try, but I wouldn't put hope on it.

Have one on a lightweight 16" AR. Nice little scope. True 1x. Good FOV, clear optics.
I've used the gun in a couple of 3-gun matches, but it's usual role is truck gun or
riding in the rack on the ATV on the farm.
