Thread: Magpul MOE hanguard problem.

I recently purchased a Magpul MOE carbine length handguard but My problem is it doesn't fit snug on my AR ... I get a lot of play in it. I have noticed that there is a gap on each side about 1/16th of an inch where they are (it looks like) supposed to snug up against the handguard cap on the bottom side (note: i do not have the full round handguard cap I have the one with the notches cut out on the lower sides.)

I am curious as to if any of you have noticed a similar problem.

I've noticed with magpul stuff that there's a lot of extra flashing. On my AR the XTM rail covers had to be trimmed of flashing to get them to fit together nicely, and the Miad grip needed cleaning up too. Yours probably needs the same treatment. But once you clean it up, it'll look and function well.
