Thread: Conceal Options?

I am wanting some feedback on conceal holsters for a 1911 compact & any feedback on ankle holsters for an AMT backup.

Crossbreed or Comp tac For IWB Carry

By "compact" do you mean officer's size?

If so, I have a couple of different holsters I really like.

For OWB carry I have a Bianchi Carry-lok holster that is hard to beat. It is very well made, stable, and the thumb lock makes the gun incredibly secure. It also holds the gun very high...which I like.



For when I just want something that is small and slips easily onto my belt with as little printing as possible I use a cheap Desantis belt slide style clip on (or Galco Stow-n-go). They do not give the best stability but they print the least because they are not fitted.



When I want something a bit more secure that carries IWB, I go with my Galco Summer Comfort. It is very well made, fitted, and secures nicely. It does print a bit more since it is fitted and secures to your belt with two straps.

My Ted Blocker LFI rig works well for me.

CompTac MTAC. I haven't found anything better.
