Thread: Night Vision/I.R.

I am looking for a GOOD Night Vision or I.R. Unit that could be used on a 700P or AR. The kind that go infront of your scope, on a rail. Can you buy these or are they restricted? How much are they? What is a good one?

Perfectly legal. An AN/PVS 2 is an excellent Gen 1 military scope. Various vendors have them, as well as eBay. It is Starlight only, no active IR capability. IR illuminators are useless at rifle ranges (unless its a big illuminator), which is why they are usually found only on goggles and monoculars.
