Thread: Is there any difference between the Wes Knodel and the Collectors West gun shows?

In Portland, I haven't been keeping track of who is putting on the show that I go to. For those of you who do take note...is there any significant difference between those two vendors? Also, what about other places where they both put on shows?

Not really. I think one takes the bi-mart discount and one doesn't. All the Portland ones I have been to have looked exactly the same.

The one is 3 days long, the other is only 2 days. That is the only difference I can see.

Both offer the Bi-Mart discount.

Not really sure... but I did notice that Collectors West takes place in the D Hall of the expo center, which is a little smaller and older than the main halls that West Knodel takes place in. I'm not sure if one show is larger than the other though. They look about the same to me.

It seems that at one time they were one in the same, but either through business differences or a divorce, they separated. I cant remember which.
