That was quite an event! It rained while we were setting up, wind blew pretty good all day, and every class was completely full. We had 12 Range Officers teaching in the .22 caliber pit and the math says nearly 5,000 rounds were fired by students
First Shots is a worthwhile event. It's a shame there are only 3 scheduled in Washington State this year.
There 'could' be but this event required a lot of man power. In the pistol pits alone there were 20+ volunteers working. I don't know how many were in the classroom and on the shotgun range... WE did our part.
