Looks like fun. The cars in the back of the range especially.

Have to have a table... no "open space" on the line. Anyone can get a table though.

This is more fun than the State Fair!

Renting is not bad, relatively. $30 - 50 will rent most of the firearms.

Looks like fun, I may make it out there.. Although I have shot a lot of the full auto BMG guns being in the military but it would be nice to shoot the smaller calibers in FA.

Ahhhh--remembering the good old days-- $1.50 gas, and $10 would get you a full mag for anything on the line. 50 BMG was a buck a pop, and 20MM Lahti and Solothurn was $20 per. Oh well. Still a heck of a show. Need to add a BAR and a Bren to my "I've shot one of those" list, and maybe that Lewis. I'll be there!

Cost of "rental" varies from table to table. Most seem to be about $20 per magazine of between 20 and 30-rounds of ammunition (goes quick, but it won't happen again until next year). IIRC the .50 caliber guns are about $5 per round. Gives you an idea, but don't take any of this to the bank... like I said, prices vary from one guy to the next.

Great fun today, especially the 'Gun Blast' or whatever they called it. Everyone opened fired simultaneously; it was impressive. One of the cars was already burning by then.

    More fun than...

What a great day! Hundreds of machine guns and hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition. The ROAR is amazing. If you missed it Saturday, you're in luck, it's on all day Sunday too; get your family and friends to join you for an terrific time.

One of the moments came while waiting to hang balloons, sitting in the trap range 'balloon farm,' listening to the rounds shot by suppressed firearms hit the target. And the occassional hit on the big steel plate at 200 yards. Great day and I'll be there again today hanging balloons.
