Default Monroe WAC show This weekend!!!! Sept 18th-19th

This is possibly my favorite show. Smaller than Puyallup, but there seems to be cooler stuff there.

I have 3 tables there. I got lucky, there is a waiting list since the show is sold out.

    Who's going?

I've never been to one in Monroe before. How much smaller than Puyallup would you say it is?

The show is sold out of... tables?
Any idea on the cost of a door pass,
and is it's ok to walk around with a rifle to try and sell?

Yes, you can walk around and sell a wheelbarrow full of guns. You just have to become a club member first. $35 per year, gets you into all the Monroe and Puyallup shows, and a monthly gun newsletter. By becomming a member, you are checked to make sure you aren't a felon, and that way you can buy/sell/trade from other members.

I've been a member for 6 years or so, and have traded many guns with other club members. It's always worked out for me. You should go!

It is about 1/3 of the size.

I always find great deals from the dudes walking around.

I have been a member sine 92. Do what I do, grab a renewal form and send it out the next day after the show. You will have your new sticker before the next show.

Note to new prospective members, you can only join at the show. My friend tried to do it thru the mail and wes told no.

Wait....lemme get this straight. To purchase, sell, or trade a firearm....you must pass a background check, and become a member of the "club". Does this mean that only member's of the club are allowed into the show? If I only wish to browse, then decide to make a purchase at a later time...I will not be allowed the opportunity to join?

You can pay $5 and browse as a non-member. You can also buy parts.

If you become a member, you get into all of the WAC gun shows for free.

So, if you go to 7 gun shows in a year, the membership is essentially free.

Plus it costs me about $100 bucks in gas.LOL So if there is a gun for less $150 there that I want maybe I should go and then I would be delayed like always.

I hear mixed things about the show. I'll be going for the first time tomorrow. If it is complete fail, I always have Maltby Cafe to make the trip worth while for a 5lb cinnamon bun!

Wish I could make it... Perhaps the next show.

Be sure to post when you get a good deal so we know what we missed.
