I remember when the ONLY Danner Boots was at 3rd and Morrison. In about 1959 Mr Danner made a last of my foot and a pair of light weight kangaroo topped outdoor boots.

    Still have them.

Wish I would of checked this thread out 6 months ago. Just bought a pair for $259.00 from amazon. Next time I guess (although they are Danner's so it'll be a couple of years). Do you re-tread them there or who do you refer people to?

The best place to get that done is with Danner. The prices are not bad and the quality is excellent.

I owned the Pronghorn Boots while doing construction and they lasted for 2 years, being worn 5 days a week (even lasted through the 2 week wiring of a dairy manager! And cow manure is hard on boots.) I now have the Fort Lewis Boots they are amazingly comfortable. I find them more comfortable then the Stryker boots that I wore for 2 years. Do you have a web site that I can bookmark the next time I need a pair? Thanks for the re-tread info.
