Default Ruger Rimfire Challenge Northwest July 31st

Well--sort of a competition. More of a get together and shoot 22's with
a chance of winning a new gun. Family event, sort of a steel challenge format.

Doesn't have to be Ruger's--I'm thinking of shooting an old High Standard HD
    and a Marlin 60.

Tri-County gun club, Saturday July 31st. Tell Chuck you didn't hear about it
until now, he will probably waive the late entry fee.

    What a FUN day.

57 shooters, ranging from under 7 yrs old to a LOT older. 10 stages,
5 pistol--5 rifle. All steel, no itty-bitty targets.

Wide range of guns, from bolt action to full blown purpose built race guns.
Half the fun was just looking at what people were running.

Prize table had 4 Ruger 22's and enough other goodies that everybody came
away with something. Table was run by random drawing, so everyone had a chance at the guns.

Put this one on your calendar when it comes to town again.

I wanted to make that, even took my 10/22 out with red dot and sighted in earlier in the week. Just wasn't in the cards for me that weekend.

What a fun event! My company (Superior Concepts Inc.) is one of the sponsors for the Ruger Rimfire series and we attended and shot in the match here at Tri-County Gun Club with my employees and the owner of Rich's Gun Shop.
Just for fun, we didn't win anything but being our first event we all had a blast! Lots of magazines and hats were given away as prizes, as well as some firearms! Hopefully everyone had as much fun as we did.

Come to TCGC sight-in days Sept. 18-19, 25-26!

MAN! I wish I would have seen this before the event took place! I have a few tricked-out 10/22's and a couple 22/45's that I would have loved to shoot. Being a member here, AND TCGC, you would think I would have known about this. I guess if you snooze, you lose!

Do you have to be a member of TCGC to participate?? If so, that would leave me out........

Did each participant have to fire pistol and rifle?

    What was the entry fee??

It sounds like it was a lot of fun.....
