Thread: looking for .303 British Ammo for sale

HI ALL, anyone know where i can pick up some .303 Brithish ammo? (Some what cheaply)looking for about 100rds give or take. Heading to gun show Saturday checking on hte prices there too.

This may not be what you are looking for (and I wouldn't blame you a bit if you shied away), but I have 60 rounds of good handloads left over from the pile my father left to me. Here's what they are:

WW Brass, new, and in the WW white boxes (3) in fine shape.
180g Sierra .311 Spitzer
42.5g IMR4895
Primer: unknown, but Dad loaded CCI's (#200?) almost exclusively for all his Large Rifle loadings.
Velocity: 2450fps.

This data from Dad's ballpoint pen markings on each box. Velocity stated is probably from load book printings (Dad never owned a chrono).

These were done for a Jungle Carbine he had for awhile. Checking my Lyman book, this is .5g below max. Load date is 1980.

I also have a full box of the same Sierra bullets, and a nice RCBS die set. Will probably never own a SMLE, so would let these go for a fair offer. Again, full understanding if you are hesitant to buy "handloads off the internet". I would be too.

P.S.: He was a retired Senior Master Sergeant, USAF, too! I am certain the ball point pen he used was a black/chrome one marked "U.S. Government". Somehow he retired with a lifetime supply of 'em.
