Saw this today at the range what a great idea! Talked to the gentleman for awhile about it. He sizes all his brass at home then loads 1 at a time at the range making adjustmenta as needed based on chrono results. Judging by the targets in the top of his box I'd say it works pretty darn well. Just thought i would share this photo with the community.
This is pretty much "standard equipment at our range. There is a "Members Only" range where the Bench Rest shooters set up.
A couple of them have retired the old powder measures and are running RCBS Chargemasters on battery packs made of 8 "D" cells.
One shooter takes almost 40 minutes to unload his truck and set up before firing the first shot. Not me, I came to shoot and have a couple hundred rounds ready made.
There was a guy with a similar setup a few months ago at the range I sometimes go to. He spent most of the day cleaning his rifle (OCD I guess).
Cleaned for about an hour, fired 4 shots and cleaned for a couple hours. I don't think I saw him load any rounds but he brought his whole work bench with him
Those are some awesome groups in that lid, even if they're 3rds!
What was he shootin?
