8.3 cents per bullet. I shoot these for PR matches at Tri-County and have nothing bad to say about them. They're good enough as long as your not bench shooting. And CHEAP!!
I've got plinkers , machine pulls , 55 grain for $65 per thousand. They are FMJBT with canellures, canellures may vary because of mixed lot pulls.
I also have some new 55 grain .223 bullets that are from a mixed lot, canellures vary, but these are new not pulled. I started with a large quantity and sorted at 10% that weren't acceptable. Assuming I didn't get them all, it would be best for the reloader to inspect each bullet before loading. I estimate you can inspect 1,000 bullets in less than 15 minutes so it isn't a big deal to catch the 1 or 2 % that I might have missed. I will check them again before shipping also. These are also $65 per thousand.
I also have some new 62 grain , steel core at $88 per thousand.
I can ship via USPS medium flat rate boxes. A medium box at $12 with delivery confirmation.
PM me if your interested.
I've been using Montana Gold 55gr fmj-bt's for a couple years now. $273 per case of 3500 delivered to my door or $0.078 per bullet. No sorting, no damage, just new bullets. They are ballistically similar to Hornady's 55gr FMJ-BT w/cannelure.
I don't work for them nor do I get any free product from them. I just found them to always have stock and when I needed in the past I've had a fresh case sitting on my doorstep two days after ordering.
As for accuracy, they seem to be every bit as good as any other FMJ-BT with weights consistent and lengths within acceptable limits for variation.
